Little tricks
We suggest using tips from experienced housewives, thanks to which your dessert will turn out more aromatic and tasty. Perhaps someone will say that the stores have a large selection of sweets and it’s easier to buy there. But if you at least once try to make a delicacy with cottage cheese from shortcrust pastry (the recipe is not at all complicated) at home, you will be convinced that it will be much tastier than store-bought. So, some tips:
- You can use any cottage cheese for cooking. However, there is one caveat: it must be fresh and dry. Some housewives like to use stale cottage cheese to prepare various dishes and desserts. This should not be done under any circumstances, otherwise the dish will be less tasty and aromatic.
- When cooking, you can add grated orange.
- It is best to beat the gourmet dough with a mixer so that there are no lumps.
- This dish can be prepared both for breakfast and for an afternoon snack.
- Add vanillin to the dough, which will give the finished dessert a special taste and aroma.
- The recipe for gourmet with cottage cheese made from shortcrust pastry can be in several versions. Add poppy seeds or grated orange to the filling, and the taste of the finished dessert will be different.
- What if you forgot to buy cottage cheese, and there is curd mass in the refrigerator? There are no problems. We use it instead of cottage cheese.
