Cottage cheese casserole with milk chocolate: recipe for a slow cooker

Exactly the same beauty “Zebra” can be prepared in a slow cooker; a chocolate-curd casserole of this type can be supplemented with milk chocolate, which will give it even more chocolate, and increasing the number of eggs will make it even more tender.

If you don't have cream on hand, use milk and butter.

  • 1 kg soft cottage cheese;
  • 6 eggs;
  • 1 gr. With. Sahara;
  • 100 g milk chocolate;
  • 100 g cream;
  • 4.5 tbsp. l. starch.

Melt the chocolate over low heat on the stove or in a double boiler.

Mix cottage cheese with eggs and sugar using a mixer or blender and divide the mass into two equal parts. Add 2 tbsp to the first part. l. starch, and in the second - 2.5 and melted chocolate. Stir thoroughly.

Alternately place 2 tbsp into a greased multicooker bowl. l. each type of dough, alternating shades to achieve the required Zebra stripes. And bake the chocolate casserole in a multicooker for 85 minutes on the “Baking” program, after which do not open the lid for another half hour, allowing the product to brew. Only after this remove the casserole and let it cool completely.

When serving, you can glaze with condensed milk.

Cooking step by step:

To prepare this interesting and tasty casserole, we will need the following products: cottage cheese (I have 5% fat), granulated sugar, high-quality cocoa powder, chicken eggs, milk, corn starch, butter and vanillin (can be replaced with a teaspoon of vanilla sugar). We use all products at room temperature.

First we will make a light dough. To do this, put cottage cheese in a suitable container, add sugar and vanillin.

Add chicken eggs. I have homemade ones, that’s why their yolk is orange (that’s why the finished cottage cheese casserole turns out to be such a pleasant yellow color). With store-bought eggs, the casserole will be pale.

Now we beat everything with an immersion blender to get a completely homogeneous liquid mass. If you don’t have an immersion blender, you can use a food processor, but with its help the curd mass will be with small grains.

Now put a third of the entire curd mass into a separate bowl. Add cocoa powder and milk to it. Put about 3 tablespoons of starch (without a slide) into the light dough and mix everything.

We punch everything with a blender or simply mix with a fork/spoon/spatula/whisk. As a result, you should get two types of dough, which ideally will have the same consistency of low-fat sour cream. If some dough turns out thicker, add additional milk. Just don’t overwork the dough or make it thick, otherwise the finished casserole will be too dense.

All that remains is to pour the curd dough into a baking dish (I have a 1 liter capacity) - absolutely any will do: rectangular, square, round, oval. Just don't forget to grease it a little with oil so that the casserole doesn't stick later. First, pour in the light dough and distribute it evenly along the bottom of the mold.

Next, pour in a little chocolate dough so that it almost completely covers the light layer.

So, one by one, fill the entire form with dough and put the cottage cheese casserole in the oven, which must be preheated to 180 degrees.

The readiness of the cottage cheese casserole is determined visually: shake the pan a little - the middle should tremble slightly, like a cheesecake. I kept it in the oven at medium level for about 40-45 minutes, but you can use your oven as a guide. Let the cottage cheese casserole cool in the mold, after which we take it out and can be cut into portions.

I hope you liked the recipe and you will definitely please your family with this simple and tasty dish. Dmitry, thank you for ordering the recipe!

Delicious cottage cheese and chocolate casserole: Cooking process

So, if all the products have been purchased, let’s go to the kitchen, choose a comfortable deep bowl to work with and get started. First, add the dry base of our future dough - granulated sugar and vanillin, mix the ingredients thoroughly with a spatula.

Next we will add the semolina and mix everything very thoroughly again. Another plus of our culinary creation is that we don’t need to waste time for the semolina to swell, we carry out all the processes one after another, everything is simple and fast.

Now add sour cream, using a spatula, mix the dry base together with sour cream, as if rubbing the components together. One two minutes and it's done.

As we can see, a structure is already emerging that is closer to the test, which is exactly what we needed.

We take cottage cheese, in our version we use ordinary store-bought cottage cheese, fine-grained in structure. You can take homemade one, for a more successful result, you need to grind such cottage cheese through a sieve or mince it. We introduce all the cottage cheese into our sour cream and sugar base. Mix.

Now it’s the turn of the eggs, as expected, before adding the eggs to the dough, wash them thoroughly and dry them. We begin to beat in the eggs, do it gradually, driving in one egg after another at intervals of half a minute.

And we use half a minute to punch the dough with an immersion blender. As a result, when all four eggs are in the dough, we will have a very tender and creamy base. This is exactly what we wanted. You can proceed to the next process.

Take two containers of equal volume and evenly pour the prepared dough into them. Sift cocoa powder into one part through a fine sieve, sifting precisely so that lumps of cocoa do not get into the dough. When choosing cocoa, we strongly recommend choosing a quality product. Stir the mixture until the dough becomes a uniform chocolate color, without streaks.

We cover the baking dish with baking paper, having first greased it with a good layer of oil, without a characteristic odor. We begin to lay the dough in layers, the first layer is chocolate, the second layer is white.

Add the remaining chocolate batter as a third layer.

Well, we finish filling the mold with white dough. By this point, we should already have a well-heated oven, set the temperature to 170 degrees, send the mold for 40-45 minutes. After baking, be sure to give it time to cool, so we can easily make a beautiful cut, but we suggest serving our pastries with pieces of your favorite fruit or seasonal berries.

Bon appetit!

Crumble the cookies with a blender and mix them into a dough-like state with melted butter. Place and level, pressing down, the prepared sand base onto the paper lined along the bottom of the mold, in which the dessert will be baked in the future.

For the filling, grind vanilla and regular sugar and cottage cheese in a blender, add egg and starch and mix everything thoroughly. Divide the finished mass into three parts: set aside one third, and mix coffee and melted chocolate with the same blender in the remaining two thirds.

Place both mixtures on top of the sand base in layers and bake for an hour at 180 degrees.
