  1. Separate the yolks from the whites. In a deep bowl, beat the cold whites until you get a white fluffy foam. It is better to do this with a mixer. Let's set it aside for now.
  2. Place thick sour cream in another cup and add egg yolks to it. Add pepper, salt, dried garlic powder, and some other seasonings to taste.
  3. Add flour and mix well until smooth.
  4. Now add the previously whipped whites here and stir well with a whisk until smooth. Thanks to the whipped egg whites, the dough will be filled with many bubbles, a kind of substitute for baking powder.
  5. Check the thickness of the resulting batter. It should be sticky and slightly runny. If necessary, you can add more flour (or add water).
  6. Pour more vegetable oil into the frying pan (it is better to take one that is odorless), heat it well on the stove.
  7. Take a slice of meat and gently dip it in the batter. The batter should cover the pork on all sides. It’s better to do this with kitchen tongs, but if you don’t have them, you can do it with your hands.
  8. Place the slice in the pan, dip it again, and place the pork in the pan again. Now fry for about 1-3 minutes until the dough on the other side becomes golden brown.

If the dough falls off somewhere and the meat is slightly exposed (for example, fingerprints), then apply a little batter on top with a spoon.

Carefully turn over and fry on the other side until golden brown. There is no need to fry it too much, since the pieces are thick and will not be cooked enough anyway, but in the meantime the batter may dry out or even burn.

The batter set and browned, and we got some kind of pies with whole meat inside. Place them in a greased pan and cover with a sheet of foil on top.
