  • 100 grams of butter;
  • glass of water;
  • 100 grams of sugar;

First of all, you need to cook millet porridge. It must be different from the generally accepted model. To do this, I first scald the millet with boiling water.

I put the cereal on a sieve and let the water drain.

I pour scalded millet into boiling water. Cook until half cooked.

Then add milk and salt to taste.

I continue to cook the millet porridge until completely cooked. It should turn out very cool (thick). If there is a lot of liquid in the porridge, then you should open the lid and bring it to the desired state over low heat. Such as shown in this recipe with photo.

Then I cool it slightly. I put butter in the millet porridge and add sugar.

Add washed raisins and mix.

I beat the eggs with a whisk.

Pour the beaten eggs into the millet porridge with raisins and mix again.

I pour the resulting mixture into the prepared baking dish. If necessary, it should be lubricated with vegetable oil or fat.

Millet porridge casserole is cooked in the oven until a golden brown crust appears on the surface.

It took me about 30 minutes. The oven temperature was kept at about 200 degrees. The casserole goes perfectly with any fruit sauce.

The breath of millet porridge echoed through the house, and it was time to get the casserole out. All our expectations were justified, and we began to devour millet with the cat.

Leaning back in his chair. He wiped the sweat from his forehead with a tired hand. Stopping his cheekbones for a moment, he sighed and said - the battle was lost again.

Casserole cooking options

One of the options is a cottage cheese casserole made from millet. To prepare it you will need:

  • ready-made millet porridge;
  • cottage cheese;
  • chicken eggs;
  • powdered sugar (it is better to take it so that there is no nasty grinding of sugar on your teeth);
  • grated lemon peel;
  • a mixture of nuts, crushed into small particles;
  • raisin;
  • breadcrumbs;
  • butter.

The casserole with the addition of cottage cheese is prepared quite quickly and is very similar in taste to the one given to children in kindergarten. It is enough to mix everything well and grind until smooth. Especially if you are going to give it to a baby under one year old. Cottage cheese casserole based on millet porridge is good for everyone to eat to strengthen teeth and bones.

Place the prepared mass in a mold, greased with butter and sprinkled with breadcrumbs. Bake the dish in the oven until an appetizing crust appears. It is very tasty to eat this dish with sour cream.

Another recipe is krupennik. Millet porridge casserole can be quite simple in its ingredients. The recipe is as easy as possible and includes the following list of products:

  • a glass of millet;
  • 2.5 glasses of water;
  • a pair of eggs;
  • butter - 50 g;
  • sour cream - 0.5 cups;
  • sugar.

If you wish, you can add cottage cheese to it. Then you will get an even more interesting product. Cook the crumbly porridge, wait for it to cool, then add eggs and sugar to it, add sour cream. If you are going to make the casserole also with cottage cheese, add cottage cheese. Dose the amount of sugar yourself. But remember that for children, especially under the age of one year, make the casserole as minimally sweet as possible. This recipe is often used to serve in kindergarten. Serve with sour cream. But, as an option, you can add jam, condensed milk, etc. Bake the krupennik in the oven, having first placed it tightly in the mold. A casserole like in kindergarten for children does not have to be cottage cheese. Its recipe is also quite simple, but instead of cottage cheese it contains raisins. For it you will need:

  • 1.5 glasses of milk;
  • half a glass of millet;
  • the same amount of raisins;
  • a pair of eggs;
  • sugar 2 tablespoons.

Cook the porridge with the addition of milk (in kindergarten, the recipe for children is sometimes changed and the porridge is not cooked with milk, especially if it is intended for allergy sufferers or babies under one year old). After you have cooled the porridge, beat it with eggs and sugar. Add raisins. Place everything in a special form and bake in the oven. This recipe can be supplemented with curd mass to get a more interesting taste.

Alternatively, you can make a casserole without cottage cheese, but with pumpkin.

Alternatively, you can make a casserole without cottage cheese, but with pumpkin. This is very interesting for children, because... They definitely don’t give this kind of thing in kindergarten. First, cook the porridge with pumpkin and cool it. Then add the egg and white from the second one. Sweeten with a pinch of sugar. Prepare the mold by greasing it with margarine and lay out one part of the resulting mixture. Top it with chopped prunes. Cover with remaining porridge. Grease the top of the casserole with the prepared mixture of sour cream and yolk. Place the pan in the oven and bake in the oven. Your indicator of readiness should be the appearance of a golden crust.

In kindergarten, children will not be offered this option, but at home you can try making cottage cheese casserole from millet porridge not in the oven, but in a slow cooker. The recipe is quite simple and variable. For preparation use:

  • millet;
  • milk;
  • sugar;
  • butter;
  • egg;
  • cottage cheese;
  • dried fruits.

The recipe for this cottage cheese casserole is very simple. And the resulting dish is no worse than in the oven - with the same beautiful, appetizing crust. Rinse the millet, pour boiling water over it for 5 minutes. Then drain the water and place the cereal in the multicooker bowl. Set the “Porridge” mode and cook the cereal for 50 minutes. After cooling it, put it in a bowl, add butter, cottage cheese and dried fruits. Mix everything very thoroughly. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with sugar and add them to the total mass. Grease the bowl again and put the whole mixture into it. Then set the baking mode. Cooking time takes about an hour on average. This casserole can be given to your child at home as a change from the food he is offered every day in kindergarten.
