The simplest recipe for fried suluguni

What do we know about fried suluguni? This dish is the simplest type of snack that can be served at the table at any time during the meal. Pairs wonderfully with spicy and creamy sauces. The dish is prepared in literally 10-15 minutes.

A remarkable feature of this seemingly high-calorie snack is that eating the dish will have virtually no effect on your figure. The nutritional value of 100 grams of product is only 324 calories. Compared to other holiday dishes, this calorie content is minimal.

When preparing a snack for the first time, it is better to consider the recipe for fried suluguni with a photo. Following detailed instructions, any housewife can create a real culinary masterpiece.

Ingredients

  • 0.5 kg Suluguni cheese
  • 3st. l. Butter Already melted butter is often used, as it does not impart the burnt taste to the cheese. The consumption of such oil is much less than fresh oil.
  • 3st. l. Cold pressed olive oil
  • Salt and ground black pepper (pepper mixture)

Cooking

  1. First you need to cut the suluguni. Often this is done with straws, but you can be original and give the cut a triangle shape, for example.
  2. Place the butter in a heated frying pan, melt it completely and only then pour in the olive oil. Sometimes regular sunflower oil is used, but it must be refined. Vegetable oil is added so that the milk does not stick and does not burn during the frying process.
  3. Sometimes the heated oil is seasoned with spices before dropping the cheese. This trick will help give suluguni new flavors. For connoisseurs of the standard taste of a dairy product, it is enough to add salt to the melted mass.
  4. Place slices of the product in hot fat and fry it on all sides until the sides turn golden.

Recipe Notes

Serve in the same frying pan until the cheese has cooled - you can first drain the oil from the container. Decorations can include sprigs of herbs or special sauces. When cold, fried suluguni will also be very tasty and original.

Cooking methods

An interesting dish from Suluguni can be prepared at home. For example, you can fry it in a frying pan with vegetables. Typically, tomatoes and a variety of greens are used to prepare this dish. The result is an unusual and healthy snack. Eggs are often added during cooking. Then the dish becomes more satisfying.

If you have ketsi in your house, you can make cheese with it. This is a special clay frying pan. Typically, such dishes are served in Georgian restaurants. In this case, Suluguni is cooked with tomatoes or mushrooms. Thanks to the special shape of the pan, the dish turns out to be especially tasty.

You can also fry the cheese on the grill or on the grill. It is also permissible to cook smoked Suluguni, but it is worth considering that in this case the calorie content of the dish will increase significantly.

Before choosing a particular recipe, you should familiarize yourself with some general rules for making fried cheese.

  • Before frying regular Suluguni, you should take care of the breading. As a rule, this is a small amount of flour, eggs, breadcrumbs or sesame seeds. You can add any herbs you like to the beaten eggs. It is better to take fresh greens, as dry ones will quickly burn during frying.
  • The breading should be dense. This will not allow Suluguni to flow out of it.
  • Fry the cheese in cubes or circles in a heated and oiled frying pan. The product is fried on both sides. The oil should not be heated too hot, as this may cause the breading to burn. In this case, the cheese inside will not be able to cook properly.
  • If you plan to cook cheese on the grill or barbecue, you can first wrap it in pita bread. The end result is a tasty and satisfying dish. If desired, you can add a little greenery.

Baked pork with suluguni cheese

Suluguni cheese (recipes with it are found in many cuisines around the world) can be baked with pork in the oven.

Preparation next.

Composition of ingredients

The ingredients are designed for 5 servings of the finished dish.

You will need to take the following set of products:

  • 500 g pork;
  • 2 tsp. spice mixtures for meat;
  • 3 tbsp. l. mayonnaise;
  • 2 bell peppers;
  • 2 branches of parsley;
  • 100 g Russian cheese;
  • 100 g suluguni cheese;
  • 2 tsp. vegetable oil;
  • 1/2 tsp. table salt.

Step-by-step cooking process

You can prepare pork with suluguni cheese according to these instructions:

  1. Cut the pork into 5 equal pieces, sprinkle each with the prepared spice mixture, cover the pieces with cling film and beat using a mallet. Wrap the chopped meat in film and put it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  2. Cut bell peppers in half and remove seeds. Cut the peppers into small cubes. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  3. Line a baking sheet with food foil. Pour a little oil, spread it over the surface with a silicone brush and lay out the pieces of pork. Wash the parsley and chop it very finely. Grease each piece of pork with mayonnaise, sprinkle with parsley and lay out a few cubes of bell pepper. Sprinkle the preparations with salt.

Grind both cheeses on a large-mesh grater. First, place Russian cheese on the blanks, and suluguni on top. Place the pieces in a hot oven and bake for 20 minutes.

How to serve a dish

Serve pork with suluguni cheese only hot. To add more flavor to the dish, you can use bell peppers of different colors.

Spinach roll with ham and suluguni

To prepare the spinach roll, you will need to allocate approximately 60 minutes.

The ingredients are for 10 servings.

Composition of ingredients

Spinach roll consists of the following components:

  • 800 g flour;
  • 3 eggs;
  • 330 ml milk;
  • 60 g vegetable oil;
  • 2 tsp. table salt;
  • 1 tsp. granulated sugar;
  • 2 tbsp. l. frozen spinach;
  • 1/2 tsp. yeast;
  • 3 tbsp. l. ketchup;
  • 1 tsp. mayonnaise;
  • 800 g ham;
  • 500 g suluguni cheese.

Step-by-step cooking process

You can prepare spinach roll with suluguni cheese and ham like this:

  1. Break 2 eggs into a large container, pour in milk, add yeast, table salt and sugar, pour in butter and add previously defrosted spinach. If using fresh spinach, puree it in a blender.

  2. Add sifted flour in portions and knead the dough. Break the remaining egg into a bowl, pour in mayonnaise and ketchup and beat the mixture with a fork.
  3. Cut the dough into 2 parts and roll them out with a rolling pin on the table, adding flour. Peel the ham from the film and chop using a coarse grater along with the suluguni. Mix grated ingredients.
  4. Lubricate the dough layer with a mixture of ketchup, eggs and mayonnaise, lay out half of the filling, distributing it evenly over the entire surface, and wrap the workpiece in a roll. Roll the roll into a roll shape and place in a heat-resistant baking dish, greasing it with oil.
  5. Brush the top of the roll with the remaining egg mixture and place in the oven, preheated to 180°C. Bake the roll until the surface turns brown. Bake the second roll in the same way.

Suluguni can be prepared according to the recipe, breaded in a frying pan. Pieces of cheese should be fried in hot oil. Then they won't flow.
