Recipe 1: Blonde salad (step by step photos)

  • 2 - 4 pieces of small fresh tomatoes,
  • 150 grams of your favorite sausage (any),
  • 100 grams of hard cheese,
  • 2-3 large potatoes,
  • 150 grams of mayonnaise,
  • 1 clove of garlic,
  • odorless vegetable oil for frying potatoes.

Let's get started! Take the potatoes, peel them, wash them, grate them on a medium grater or on a grater for Korean dishes.

Place potato chips in a bowl of cold water.

Wash and strain through a sieve.

We need to peel the starch from the potatoes.

Next, spread out a clean, dry towel and scatter potato chips on it to dry. We definitely do this! Otherwise, the wet potatoes will crackle in the pan and splash hot oily drops in all directions.

The salad is easy to prepare, so you can make it not only for a holiday, but also just for variety. Don't pass by this salad, because it is also unusual, thanks to potato straws fried in sunflower oil.

  • ham – 150 g;
  • tomatoes – 4 pcs.;
  • hard cheese – 100 g;
  • potatoes – 3 large;
  • mayonnaise – 200 g;
  • garlic – 1 clove;
  • sunflower oil - for frying potatoes.

First of all, we must prepare the potatoes, because this will take the most time. We peel large potato tubers and rinse them in water. We take a special Korean-style vegetable cutter and chop all the potatoes. Place the straws in a colander and thoroughly rinse them to remove excess starch. After washing, dry the potatoes with a towel.

Fry the dried potatoes in oil until they are golden and crispy. To do this, we take a fairly large amount of oil. We can fry the potatoes in batches to make it more convenient. We transfer all the finished potatoes onto napkins so that excess fat can drain off.

We wash the tomatoes, chop them and place them on a flat plate. Mix a couple of tablespoons of mayonnaise with chopped garlic and coat the tomatoes with this sauce.

Chop the ham into pieces and distribute on top.

We make the impregnation from mayonnaise.

Next comes grated cheese and mayonnaise.

Our magnificent salad ends with fried potatoes.

Classic salad recipe

Blonde salad, a recipe with a photo of which will be useful to cooks, is often prepared with the addition of fried potatoes, ripe juicy tomatoes, cheese and sausage, which can be used in different varieties. For example, you can use boiled sausage or even dry sausage. It is the first option that is usually chosen by domestic chefs. The calorie content of the treat ends up being approximately 172 kcal per 100 g.

What ingredients will you need?

For the dish you need to take:

  • tomatoes – 4 pcs.;
  • sausage – 130-150 g;
  • potatoes (large size) – 3 pcs.;
  • cheese – 80-90 g;
  • garlic – 1 clove,
  • mayonnaise and salt.

You will need quite a lot of sauce for this recipe. It will take approximately 1 tbsp. You will also need to use any vegetable oil. It is needed for frying potatoes. It does not go into the salad itself.

Step-by-step cooking process

The cooking process includes several stages:

  1. You should start with potatoes. It is washed, cleaned and crushed. It is best to use a Korean grater for potatoes. Then you will get a neat straw, which in the end will crunch appetizingly.

  2. The next stage of preparing potatoes is also very important. It must be rinsed to remove excess starch and dried completely. It is convenient to do this on a kitchen towel made of natural material.
  3. When the potato straws are already dry, it’s time to fry them in a frying pan. This should be done in a large amount of fat. To remove excess from the finished product, you will need to pour the potatoes onto a napkin with a slotted spoon. It will absorb fat. This will also significantly reduce the calorie content of the finished treat.
  4. It is best to cut washed tomatoes into slices. But they should not be too thick. These vegetables are the first to go on a wide but shallow plate.
  5. The tomatoes are then coated with sauce. To prepare it, mix mayonnaise with crushed garlic. You can add salt to taste.
  6. The sausage will be peeled from the film. And after that, cut into strips or cubes. It pours on top of the tomatoes.
  7. The products are again covered with sauce on top and also covered with cheese shavings.
  8. After the next layer of sauce, you can distribute the fried and now cooled potatoes.

There is no need to coat the topmost component with anything. Otherwise, the potato straws will lose their delicious crunch.

What can I add?

You can add an additional vegetable layer to the appetizer. For example, from fresh cucumber or sweet pepper. Or use pre-finely chopped greens.

Rules for serving dishes, decoration

It is best to let the treat sit for about half an hour before taking the sample. But don’t leave the delicacy for too long, otherwise the fried potatoes will get soggy. If the dish is prepared in advance, then the straws from the frying pan should be left on a napkin and scattered on top at the very last moment.

Recipe 3, step by step: Blonde salad with sausage and cheese

A very easy to prepare salad from an accessible list of ingredients, in fact it turns out to be very original in taste and satisfying. The cooking process itself does not take much time; the only thing that requires special attention is the preparation of potato sticks. In the original recipe, the potatoes are only seasoned with salt, but you can add a drop of crushed garlic, which will add not so much taste as aroma, and then the dish will sound new.

  • potatoes – 2-3 pcs.;
  • tomatoes – 4 pcs.;
  • carbonate or sausage – 150 g;
  • hard cheese – 100 g;
  • garlic – 1 clove;
  • mayonnaise.
  • vegetable oil.

Peel the potatoes and grate them into long strips.

Wash the potato sticks thoroughly with water again and dry with a towel.

Deep fry the dried potatoes until golden brown and place on a paper towel to remove excess fat. Add some salt. The potatoes are cut very thin, so you need to fry them very carefully so as not to overcook them, otherwise they will be very dry.

To dress the first layer of the Blonde salad, mix a couple of tablespoons of mayonnaise with crushed garlic.

Cut small, identical tomatoes into slices 4-5mm thick. and place on a flat wide dish in one layer.

Top the tomatoes with garlic sauce.

Cut the carbonate or sausage into strips, approximately like potatoes, and spread in an even layer on the tomatoes. We make a mayonnaise mesh on top.

Grate the cheese and sprinkle the third layer on our salad. Drizzle with mayonnaise.

Finally, lay out the potatoes that have had time to cool.

The “Blonde” salad does not need any additional decoration; the top layer of slightly curly golden-colored potatoes fully corresponds to the name of the dish.

But for a more festive presentation, the salad can be decorated with herbs and tomato flowers.

With fried potatoes

Blonde salad, a recipe with a photo of which is published later in the article, is almost always prepared with fried potatoes. It must be crispy and in the form of a thin strip. The more familiar French fries are not suitable for such a treat.

Blonde salad, recipe with fried potatoes.

To prevent thin straws from sticking together in a frying pan, it is recommended to fry them in minimal portions. It is very convenient to cook potatoes in a deep fryer.

What ingredients will you need?

For the dish you need to take:

  • potatoes – 3 pcs.;
  • tomato – 1 pc.;
  • cheese – 65-70 g;
  • sausage – 130-150 g;
  • butter, sauce, salt.

It is best to use hard or semi-hard cheese for this dish. And the sausage is half-smoked.

Step-by-step cooking process

The cooking process includes several stages:

  1. Peeled potatoes are grated on a Korean grater to form thin strips. Afterwards it is washed well with cold water to remove excess starch.
  2. Dry this ingredient with paper or cotton towels. Otherwise, the potatoes will “shoot” a lot during frying in oil and will not turn out crispy.
  3. A thick-bottomed pan needs to be filled with vegetable oil. Then warm it up well.
  4. Potato straws will be sent into the already boiling fat. It should be fried until it has an appetizing golden color. But it is important not to overcook the potatoes in oil. The product should not be overcooked. Otherwise, it will become bitter in the salad.
  5. The finished product is laid out on paper towels to remove excess fat. At this stage, you can salt the potatoes. But you should not do this during the frying process.
  6. The washed tomato should be cut into slices. Don't let the pieces be too thick. Otherwise, the taste of the tomato will be too bright in the appetizer. It will become the first layer of treats on a flat wide plate.

  7. A mesh of sauce is applied on top of the tomato. The easiest way is to use regular salted mayonnaise. But you can choose other sauces to suit your taste. For example, cheese.
  8. Smoked sausage is also great for this recipe. It first gets rid of the film, after which it is cut. For example, cubes.
  9. The sausage will be the next layer of treat. She coats herself with sauce.

All that remains is to place the golden crispy potatoes on top. You don't need sauce on it so that this layer doesn't get soggy.

Rules for serving dishes, decoration

Fresh herbs are best for garnishing the dish. You can use any one you like. For example, it is enough to simply place a few parsley leaves on top or sprinkle chopped dill on the salad.

First, deal with the potatoes, i.e. first peel and wash them, and then grate them using a Korean carrot grater. After that, rinse the potatoes again in running water to remove excess starch and let them dry on a towel.

As soon as the potatoes dry, fry them in vegetable oil. Next, place the potatoes on a paper towel to remove excess oil. On a large, but not deep plate, place tomatoes cut into half rings in one layer.

Mix two tablespoons of mayonnaise with grated garlic and apply gently on top of the tomatoes. Cut the sausage (you can use smoked chicken meat) into strips and place it on top of the mayonnaise sauce with garlic.

Apply mayonnaise on top of the sausage in a mesh-like shape.

Then, grate the cheese on a fine grater, place it on the sausage, and again make a mayonnaise mesh.

Well, at the final stage, beautifully place the fried potatoes on the cheese.

Useful tips and tricks

The following tips will help you prepare a tasty and tender snack:

  • a variety of meat components are suitable for the salad under discussion - you can take not only chicken, ham, sausage, but also any meat (including pork, beef);

  • you are allowed to experiment with sauces for appetizers - the easiest way is to use regular store-bought mayonnaise, but you can also take homemade or use cheese sauce, a mixture of sour cream and soy sauce, or any others;
  • For juiciness, a tomato is usually sent to the “Blonde”, but fresh cucumber, sweet pepper, and canned corn are also suitable for this purpose;
  • It is very important to chop the potatoes into thin strips and fry them in small portions so that they turn out crispy;
  • You can’t overcook the potatoes on the fire, otherwise, if they are too brown, they can ruin the taste of the whole salad by adding bitterness to it;
  • You should definitely remove excess oil from the fried component, otherwise this layer of snack will turn out to be too greasy;
  • if the potato topping seems a little dry on the salad, you can supplement it with a thin mayonnaise mesh, but this should be done immediately before serving the treat;
  • To decorate the dish, sauces (you can use them to draw patterns), olives, corn, pieces of fresh or pickled vegetables, miniature croutons or large golden croutons of various shapes are suitable.

A hearty and unusual Blonde salad can be prepared according to a variety of recipes. For example, with chicken, ham, boiled or smoked sausage. The easiest way to do this is to follow a detailed step-by-step recipe with photos.

  • vegetable oil – 70 ml;
  • smoked chicken – 250 g;

Coat the tomatoes with a small amount of mayonnaise. Add salt and pepper to the salad to taste.

Cut the smoked chicken into small cubes. Place chicken on top of tomatoes.

Grate the hard cheese on the finest grater and place the cheese shavings on top of the chicken.

The final layer of salad is fried potatoes. That's all, the delicious-tasting “blonde” salad is ready to serve. Enjoy your meal!

Sausage

The Blonde salad is delicious topped with croutons. The recipe for this cooking option with a photo is published later in the article. You can use store-bought crackers. They go well with the taste of cheese, sour cream, and garlic.

If you decide to prepare croutons for the salad yourself, then you should cut the white bread into neat cubes, sprinkle with vegetable oil and dry it in a dry frying pan/oven. You can also add granulated garlic.

What ingredients will you need?

For the dish you need to take:

  • boiled sausage – 220-250 g;
  • tomatoes and potato tubers - 3 pcs.;
  • crackers - 1 bag (or a large handful of homemade ones);
  • suluguni cheese – 130-150 g;
  • mayonnaise, salt, spices, garlic.

In this dish, it is recommended to add garlic to the sauce. But you can completely exclude it from the recipe if the ingredient is already in the crackers or someone at home simply doesn’t like it. It is also advisable to add salt to the mayonnaise.

Step-by-step cooking process

The cooking process includes several stages:

  1. Raw peeled potatoes will be processed with a Korean grater. The resulting shavings also need to be washed and dried well.
  2. The potatoes will be fried in a frying pan with oil until appetizingly golden brown and crunchy.
  3. The cheese is grated with a regular grater and then mixed with mayonnaise. Garlic can also be sent here.

  4. The sausage gets rid of the film, after which it is cut into cubes or bars. It will become the first layer of appetizer on a large flat dish.
  5. Afterwards you need to lay out the tomatoes, crackers and potatoes. Sausage and tomatoes are generously coated with the original cheese sauce obtained in the steps above.

It is allowed to swap the layers of potatoes and crackers. But in any case, there is no need to coat them with sauce. These ingredients should be crispy. If you plan to serve the salad to guests later, then it is better to add potatoes and croutons immediately before taking a sample of the treat.

Rules for serving dishes, decoration

Various additional components are suitable for decorating the treat. For example, you can place whole quail eggs or halves on top. Cherry tomatoes and any greens will fit perfectly here. If the treat is being prepared for a holiday, then you should put a themed inscription on top of it with sauce.
