Korean radish salad

Korean-style radish in a salad will “look” very well, no worse than the carrots everyone is used to. Oriental dishes often include different types of root vegetables, but for a spicy Korean snack it is better to take green or white radish.

The first version of salad with radish in Korean

  • Radish – 0.5 kg
  • Onion – 1 piece
  • Garlic – 3 cloves
  • Vegetable oil – tablespoon
  • Vinegar 6% - half a teaspoon
  • Sesame - teaspoon
  • Salt
  • Paprika, cilantro, cumin - to taste

Peel the radish and grate it on a Korean grater. Add salt, leave for 30 minutes. Mix all the spices separately. Chop the garlic. Cut the onion into half rings, fry in oil until golden brown, then add the garlic and sesame seeds, fry for another 3 minutes. Drain the juice from the radish, add onion and spices, vinegar.   • White or green radish – 0.5 kg
  • Sugar, salt - a teaspoon
  • Rice vinegar – 2 tablespoons
  • Water – 200 g
  • Soy sauce – 4 spoons

Cut the radish into slices. Lay them out in one layer, sprinkle with salt, then put the second and third layers, also salting them. Leave for 15 minutes, then mix the slices and drain the brine. Sprinkle the radish with sugar, leave for another 15 minutes, then pour out the newly appeared liquid. Add water, soy sauce, vinegar, put in the refrigerator for a day. After the specified time, the salad is ready. When serving, you can add vegetable oil to it.

  1. We wash the potatoes with a brush under running water. Boil water, place potatoes in it and cook until tender for 15 minutes. Cool completely, peel and grate on a medium grater.

The processed cheese can be placed in the freezer for 10 minutes, then taken out and grated on a medium grater.

Boil water, place chicken eggs in it and cook for 10 minutes (hard-boiled). Then drain the boiling water and pour cold water over the eggs for 7 minutes. Cool completely, remove shells. Separate the white from the yolk. Grate the whites. We won't need the yolk.

Wash the carrots under running water. We clean, rinse again and grate, starting from the base.

Open the sprats, drain the liquid and mash the fish with a fork.

Peel the onion, chop finely and add to the sprats.

I looked on the Internet for recipes for Klyazma salad, veal meat is often used, I should try it with turkey meat. Since my husband doesn’t eat beef, his version uses Moscow sausage instead of meat. So let's get started.

Boil the eggs. While the eggs are boiling, peel and grate the carrots and cut the onion into cubes. Fry onions and carrots in vegetable oil. Let it cool. Cut the boiled eggs into cubes. I boil new potatoes in their skins, cool and peel them. Then I cut it into thick circles and lightly fry it in vegetable oil, sprinkle green onions and dill on top. It’s an incomparable pleasure to go dig up a bush of young potatoes and cook them, knowing that there are no chemicals in them. And then enjoy the taste.
