  1. You need to start by preparing the main nutritious ingredient of the future snack - lentils. The product does not need to be pre-soaked. It will be enough to carefully sort it out, remove all the bad grains and place it in a saucepan with cold water. There should be approximately 2 times more liquid than cereal.

  2. After boiling, the lentils need to be cooked over moderate heat for approximately 35-40 minutes. As a result, it should become soft, but not boil over and turn into porridge.
  3. Already fully cooked lentils must be thrown into a sieve and allowed to drain completely. Then cool the product before adding it to the salad.
  4. The onion should be peeled and then cut into thin half rings. The smaller the pieces, the less noticeable the vegetable will be in the finished treat.
