Friday. The end of another work week is coming to an end. The child asked for a cookie for tea. I opened the nightstand - it was empty. I decided to quickly bake chocolate chip cookies in the microwave in 5 minutes. While my son’s tea was cooling down, I managed to prepare delicious cookies in the microwave, even without eggs. They simply weren't in the refrigerator. These are the quick microwave recipes I have.

Advantages of a microwave oven
A microwave is an electrical appliance that no housewife can do without in the kitchen. The main purpose of a microwave oven is to quickly heat up products, which is carried out due to electromagnetic radiation.
People have learned little tricks related to the device. In fact, using a microwave you can not only heat up food, but also:
- dry the collected herbs;
- turn stale bread into soft one;
- return flavor to seasonings;
- sterilize jars;
- peel vegetables and fruits;
- make yeast dough;
- make simple cookies.

Jam pie recipe: 4 basic options
A unique combination of external crunchiness and fragile tenderness that crumbles across the tongue - this is all about shortcrust pastry. And in tandem with aromatic sweet jam you can completely lose your head. The main thing is that you can create a “dream” yourself and it’s not at all difficult. And, by the way, you can “recycle” the remains of old, “stale” jam here.
Grated
Peculiarities. This grated pie with jam can be called a classic, because it is prepared from the basic version of shortcrust pastry, that is, it contains only a fat component, flour, baking powder and sugar. You can complement the recipe according to your taste preferences: spices, coconut flakes, finely grated zest.
Set of ingredients:
- butter or margarine - one pack;
- flour - four glasses;
- baking powder - one sachet;
- sugar - one glass;
- yolk - three pieces;
- any jam - one or two glasses for filling;
- starch - to thicken the syrup.
Step-by-step execution
- Melt the butter in a steam bath.
- Mix sifted flour and baking powder.
- Grind the yolks with sugar.
- Whisk the butter into the yolk mixture.
- Start adding flour. Do not add the entire amount at once, add a little at a time and mix thoroughly.
- Separate one third of the finished dough and wrap in cling film.
- Let it sit in the freezer for half an hour.
- Meanwhile, generously grease the pan in which the cake will be baked. You can line the bottom with baking paper or a silicone mat (no need to grease them).
- Spread the remaining majority of the dough over the bottom of the pan.
- Don't forget to make sides.
- Add enough starch to the jam so that the syrup becomes thick, otherwise the cake will “leak” and burn.
- Remove the smaller portion from the freezer and grate directly onto the filling.
- Preheat the oven to 180-200°C.
- Do not put the pie in a cold oven.
- The standing time depends on the height of your pie and the amount of filling: a flatter one will bake in about 20-25 minutes, a tall one will take about 40 minutes, perhaps even more.
- Watch the color of the top: it has become a beautiful golden color - the pie is ready.
Experiment: you can add fresh or frozen berries to the filling - you will need to remove the seeds, drain the juice and roll the fruits in starch. Or you can add jam or marmalade instead of jam - then you won’t need starch.
With meringue
Peculiarities. Here is another version of shortbread pie - with jam and tender meringue on top. You can leave the pie in its original form, or you can cut it into even diamonds and serve it like unusual meringue cakes. Instead of almonds, you can add cocoa powder to the dough, then your baked goods will acquire an alluring chocolate aroma.
Set of ingredients:
- egg - six pieces;
- butter or margarine - 150 g (melt);
- flour - 250 g;
- jam - one glass;
- powdered sugar - 350 g;
- ground almonds - 60 g.
Step-by-step execution
- Combine two eggs (beat), almonds, flour, 150 g of powder and butter.
- Spread the batter evenly across the bottom of the greased baking dish or directly onto the baking sheet.
- Don't forget to form the sides.
- Add jam. If it is liquid, thicken the syrup with starch.
- From the remaining four eggs you will only need the whites.
- Separate them and beat with the remaining powdered sugar.
- You should get a white, stable foam.
- Place it on top of the jam.
- Heat the oven to 180-200°C.
- Place the pie for 15-20 minutes.
Lemon tart
Peculiarities. A tart is an open pie made from shortcrust pastry. The filling can be anything, even unsweetened, but then there is no need to add sugar to the dough. You will love shortbread pie - with jam and crumbs on top. The crumb is just for decoration, you can make it without it.
Set of ingredients:
- butter - one pack;
- sugar - 200 g;
- flour - 0.5 kg;
- egg - one;
- yolk - four pieces;
- zest - from one medium-sized lemon;
- jam or preserves - one glass.
Step-by-step execution
- Mix all ingredients except jam in one container.
- Knead for a long time - the dough will crumble.
- When it finally becomes a single plastic mass, put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.
- Take out the dough.
- From two-thirds, roll out the base of the pie to the size of the pan in which it will be baked and place it on the bottom.
- Don't forget to grease the bottom or line it with parchment.
- And from the remaining third, roll a long “sausage”.
- Place it along the edge - this will be a side so that the jam does not “run away”.
- If the jam is liquid, add a little starch to thicken the syrup. If it is very sweet, put less sugar in the dough.
- Place the filling on the base.
- You will have scraps and unused pieces of dough left over - crumble it over the top.
- Oven temperature 180-200°C.
- Baking time is about half an hour (depending on the height of the tart).
- As soon as the pie turns golden, it is ready.
Do not rush to take out the pie “out of the heat.” It needs to reach room temperature in the mold - during this time the filling will thicken, and the base will not break when trying to remove the baked goods.
