Cooking a dish step by step with photos
Step 1
The recipe for this chocolate-curd pie includes the following ingredients: wheat flour (premium or first grade), butter, sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, cottage cheese (I have 5%, but it’s suitable for absolutely any fat content), medium-sized chicken eggs, sour cream (I used 20%, but you can use more fat), corn starch (or 40 grams of potato starch) and vanillin for flavor (if desired, replace with a teaspoon of vanilla sugar or do not add at all if you don’t like it).
Step 2
You can immediately turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees, since the dough and filling for the chocolate-curd pie are made very quickly
You can make the filling first, and then the dough, or vice versa - this is not so important. Let's start with the curd filling, for which we use the products at room temperature
To do this, put all the ingredients (cottage cheese, eggs, sour cream, sugar, vanillin and starch) into a container of suitable size.
Step 3
Blend everything with an immersion blender until smooth and homogeneous. If you don’t have such a blender, rub the cottage cheese through a sieve twice so that there are no lumps, and then mix everything thoroughly with a spoon or mixer. The curd filling is ready.
Step 4
Making chocolate dough. You can do it not only in a food processor (the attachment is a metal knife), but also simply with your hands. Sift wheat flour and cocoa powder into a container. Add sugar. Mix everything thoroughly by hand or, as in my case, for about 30 seconds in a food processor.
Step 5
All that remains is to add soft butter, which we first take out of the refrigerator and cut into small pieces.
Step 6
As a result of grinding with your hands or scrolling in a food processor, you will get this chocolate, slightly buttery crumb. The dough is ready.
Step 7
Let's start assembling the chocolate cheesecake cake. To do this, take a springform pan with a diameter of 23-26 centimeters (I have 24 centimeters), cover the bottom with baking paper. Pour half of the chocolate chips into the mold and smooth it out with your hands.
Step 8
Fill with curd filling, which has the consistency of low-fat sour cream.
Step 9
Sprinkle the other half of the chocolate chips on top and bake the pie at 180 degrees on medium for about an hour. The cooking time for the pie depends on the diameter of the pan used and the features of your oven.
Step 10
The peat pie will be ready when the middle does not wobble when you tap the sides of the mold. We take it out of the oven and let it stand on the table for 30 minutes.
Step 11
Then remove the sides of the mold and completely cool our chocolate pie with cottage cheese. Although it can already be cut and eaten warm.
Once completely cooled, store the peat pie in the refrigerator. By the way, it tastes even better the next day!
Shortbread cake with cottage cheese and chocolate
Shortbread pie with cottage cheese and chocolate
In cooking, there are many options for making chocolate cheesecake. In this dessert, the taste of cottage cheese is in perfect harmony with chocolate; the base of the cake is shortbread dough. If desired, you can add your favorite berries or pieces of fruit to the dessert, and you can also pour melted chocolate over the pie.

- Then put the filling in a pan and put it on the stove.

- After the dessert becomes warm, it must be refrigerated for 2 hours. During this time, the chocolate pie with curd filling will have time to soak in.
Before serving, divide the cake into portions.
Tips for the recipe
Chocolate goes well with orange zest. Add a teaspoon (not heaped) of chopped orange, lemon or grapefruit zest to the dough.
To make the pie tastier, choose cottage cheese with a high percentage of fat content. It's better to take a homemade product.
You can add 40 g of semolina (or starch, flour) to the curd filling. The mixture will become thicker and can be formed into balls.
Neutral foods will have a slight effect on the taste of the dish, but the design of the pie will change. Balls can be laid out not only in a chaotic order, they can be arranged in a circle or form a symmetrical pattern.
To diversify the taste of the dessert, add coconut flakes (50 g) to the curd filling.
If instead of chocolate you add more cocoa powder to the dough (3 or 4 spoons instead of two), it will turn out very tasty. This will reduce the cost of the cake and simplify the cooking process.
If desired, you can make a berry layer. Cherries are especially good in this dessert, but currants, raspberries, and canned peaches will also come in handy.

Cooking a dish step by step with photos
Step 1
The recipe for this chocolate pie includes the following ingredients: wheat flour (premium or first grade), dark chocolate, chicken eggs, sugar, butter, cottage cheese, baking powder and vanillin. I advise you to use dark chocolate, although milk will work just fine, but the color of the dough will be lighter. Yes, and then I would reduce the amount of sugar in the dough by 20 grams. Take cottage cheese of any fat content, but if it is pasty, add a little more flour. Vanillin can be replaced with a teaspoon of vanilla sugar. Here we go?
Step 2
Let's make the pie dough first. Place butter in a saucepan (preferably soft so that it melts faster) and break the chocolate.
Step 3
Melt the butter and chocolate over very low heat or a double boiler.
It is important not to overheat the mixture so that the chocolate does not curdle. It turns out to be chocolate ganache, which needs to be allowed to cool.
Step 4
Meanwhile, break 4 chicken eggs into another bowl and add 100 grams of granulated sugar to them.
Step 5
Beat everything with a whisk or mixer until a fluffy and airy mass is formed. Of course, you will have to work hard with a whisk, but with a mixer (at high speed) you will spend about 5 minutes. The eggs and sugar need to be beaten very well so that the dough rises during the baking process.
Step 6
Now add the egg mass in parts into the cooled chocolate base. Simply fold in the beaten eggs with a spoon or spatula. Do not use a mixer, otherwise you will simply settle the foam!
Step 7
I slightly miscalculated the volume of the dishes, so then I transferred the mixture to a larger container. The chocolate base should be light and airy.
Step 8
Add to it sifted wheat flour mixed with baking powder.
Step 9
Stir it into the chocolate base until smooth and homogeneous. The result is a very soft chocolate dough. It is denser in consistency than sponge cake, but lighter than cake batter.
Step 10
Now quickly make the curd filling for the pie. To do this, we simply combine all the ingredients for it: 250 grams of cottage cheese, 1 chicken egg, 75 grams of sugar, a pinch of vanillin and a couple of tablespoons of wheat flour.
Step 11
I prepare the filling in a food processor (attachment - metal blade). Literally half a minute and you get an absolutely homogeneous curd mass.
Step 12
Place the chocolate dough in a suitable baking dish, lined with parchment paper.
Step 13
Now fill the pastry syringe with the curd filling. Using a thin nozzle for filling eclairs, we inject the dough with the filling at a distance from each other. You need to fill the dough with cottage cheese until a mound is formed.
Step 14
Bake the chocolate curd pie in a preheated oven for 40-45 minutes at 180 degrees. We check the readiness with a wooden skewer or a toothpick - the dough comes out dry, everything is ready.
Step 15
Remove the finished pie from the pan, cool and serve, cut into portions.
This is the beauty that comes out of a cut. You will definitely like the contrast of colors, subtle chocolate aroma and amazing taste of this cake. Prepare for your health!

Chocolate curd pie in a slow cooker.
Ingredients
- 140 gr. wheat flour
- 35 gr. cocoa powder
- 3 pcs. egg
- 100 gr. sugar
- 210 gr. sour cream 20%
- 70 gr. butter
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 500 gr. cottage cheese
- 100 gr. sugar
- 3 pcs. egg
- 25 gr. potato starch
Cooking method
- Melt the butter in the microwave and let it cool. Beat the eggs and sugar with a mixer or blender until smooth, add sour cream, butter and beat again.

Add the other half and mix the dough with a whisk until it has a smooth, homogeneous structure. Grease the multicooker bowl with butter and place the dough there.
- Using an immersion blender, beat two large or three small eggs with sugar, add cottage cheese and potato starch and bring the dough until smooth without lumps. Carefully place the curd dough one spoon at a time in the center. The curd dough, not reaching the edges of the bowl, should form a circle with a diameter smaller than the bottom chocolate layer. Both layers should be at the same level.
- Set the “Baking” mode for 1 hour 20 minutes at a temperature of 110-120 degrees. Check the readiness of the pie after an hour (in some multicookers it cooks faster).
- Remove the finished two-color cake from the multicooker bowl using a steaming stand. Allow it to cool slightly upside down.
- The finished pie can be served warm or cold. It can be stored for up to 3-4 days in the refrigerator. Important: when cooling, the curd dough may shrink slightly in size and change shape.
- Bon appetit!
