    Hello, dear readers of my blog! Today I want to talk about the ideal product for those who love meat and at the same time lead a healthy lifestyle. This pan-fried turkey fillet is a juicy and tender dish with minimal calories that can be prepared in a variety of ways.

    The calorie content per 100 grams is only 102 kcal, and the fat content is minimal - 3 g. It can be consumed by absolutely everyone: suitable for nursing mothers, small children and those struggling with excess weight. The only thing is that due to the low fat content, the dish can turn out dry, especially the fillet.

    To make the meat juicy and soft, marinate it or stew it in sour cream sauce, cream or tomato. Soy sauce, lemon juice, olive oil with spices are perfect as a marinade. The product goes well with honey and mustard, and sometimes it is marinated in kefir, dry wine and even beer. I described marinade recipes in a separate article.

    The meat turns out very tasty in breadcrumbs, in eggs and with cheese. The breading “grabs” it securely, and the juice remains inside. So, how long to fry meat, how long to stew, and how to turn a simple product into a culinary miracle?

    Cooking features

    There is nothing complicated about stewing turkey with vegetables. However, in order for this dish to turn out tasty and aromatic, you need to know a few secrets.

    • An old turkey will never get tender, no matter how well it is cooked. Therefore, experts advise choosing a carcass weighing from 5 to 7 kilograms. This is the weight of a turkey at 16 weeks of age. It makes the most delicious stew with vegetables.
    • The quality of meat is not only about its age, so when buying you should also pay attention to the appearance of the turkey. High-quality meat will have a uniform shade without yellowness.
    • The turkey does not stew for too long, but still, to prevent the meat from burning during stewing, you need to carefully monitor the water level. In addition, it doesn’t hurt to know that in a pot with thick walls that hold the temperature inside well, the turkey will cook faster. Therefore, the ideal vessel for preparing turkey stewed with vegetables is a cauldron. A multicooker is no less suitable for this purpose.
    • The taste of the finished dish will be affected by the quality of not only meat, but also vegetables. To get the expected result, you need to choose fresh vegetables, preferably grown in your own garden, not spoiled by any diseases.

    How to prepare a turkey stew with vegetables often depends on the recipe. Therefore, it is advisable to follow the technology described in each specific case.

    Delicious turkey thigh fillet in a frying pan, fried in pieces

    The simplest dish is stew with gravy. It turns out soft and tender, and cooking does not require much time. I fry poultry when I don’t have much time, but I need to feed my family heartily and quickly.

    Required ingredients:

    • 1-1.5 kg of turkey meat;
    • 2 onions;
    • 1 carrot;
    • 1 clove of garlic;
    • 3 tbsp. vegetable oil;
    • Provencal herbs or any spices;
    • salt pepper.

    How to cook:

    1. Peel the vegetables, cut the onion into half rings, grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

    2. Heat a frying pan with oil, fry the vegetables over medium heat until the onion is translucent.

    3. Rinse the meat well, dry and cut into small pieces.

    Always remove excess moisture from meat after washing. This way the turkey will be roasted rather than stewed.

    4. Place in the frying pan with the vegetables and fry over high heat for about 10 minutes – the turkey should begin to release juices.

    ARTICLES ON THE TOPIC:

    5. As soon as all the juice has been released and the meat has turned white, the heat must be reduced so that the liquid simmers slightly.

    6. Add spices and garlic, simmer covered for about half an hour.

    7. 5 minutes before readiness, add salt and pepper. There is no need to add salt earlier, otherwise the juice will release too much and the meat will become dry.

    If after cooking there is a lot of liquid left in the pan, you need to increase the heat to maximum and evaporate the excess liquid. The dish is ready!

    Hip

    How to cook turkey steak in soy sauce on a grill pan?

    Turkey breast marinated in soy sauce is practically a restaurant dish. To improve the taste, you can add your favorite spices to the marinade, although the meat is already perfect. The product is marinated very quickly, fried too, and goes well with any side dish.

    Products for the dish:

    • 300 g turkey fillet (breast);
    • 4 tbsp. soy sauce;
    • 2-3 cloves of garlic;
    • 1 bell pepper;
    • 1 onion.

    1. Peel the breast from films, rinse, dry and cut into oblong pieces 1-2 cm thick.

    2. Cut the onion into rings and the pepper into slices.

    3. Pour soy sauce over the pieces, chop the garlic and add to the turkey, mix very well. Leave for 5-7 minutes so that everything marinates well.

    4. Heat a frying pan (a grill is best, but you can use a regular one) with vegetable oil, add a piece of butter.

    Clean the pieces of meat well from the garlic, otherwise it will burn. Fry them on both sides until golden brown along with slices of bell pepper and onion rings.

    Fillet

    Turkey breast fillet is the most dietary, but at the same time the dryest part of the bird. To make the dish more delicious, it is usually prepared with various sauces. Sour cream goes well with this meat and, in addition to juiciness, gives it a pleasant creaminess. The simmering time is 25-30 minutes.

    Ingredients:

    • turkey fillet – 1 kg;
    • sour cream – 4 tbsp. spoons;
    • soy sauce – 2 tbsp. spoons;
    • onion – 1 onion;
    • garlic – 3 cloves;
    • pepper - a couple of pinches.

    Preparation:

    • Wash the meat, dry it and cut it into longitudinal strips.
    • Chop the onion into cubes. Fry until golden in a heated and oiled frying pan.
    • Transfer the meat to the onion and simmer for about 15 minutes.
    • Chop the garlic and add to the rest of the ingredients.
    • Pour in sour cream, soy sauce, a little water and pepper. Soy sauce contains a lot of salt, so whether you add additional salt depends on your taste.
    • Simmer covered for 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.

    To preserve the juiciness of the fillet before frying, you can lightly roll it in starch.

    Turkey fillet cutlets with rolled oats, fried in a frying pan

    This healthy and tasty dish is perfect for children, as it contains a minimum of fat and no harmful additives. Usually white bread or a loaf is added to the minced meat, but I like to make them with rolled oats. It turns out to be less caloric, but very satisfying - such cutlets can be eaten with vegetables without a side dish or bread.

    What to take:

    • 650 g turkey pulp;
    • 0.5 cups oatmeal;
    • 1 egg;
    • 1 medium onion;
    • 1 glass of milk;
    • olive oil;
    • salt, pepper, seasonings to taste.

    Recipe with photo:

    1. Pour milk over the oatmeal and leave to swell.

    2. Grind the meat in a meat grinder or grind it in a blender along with the onion. From experience, I want to say that it is best to use a meat grinder with a large grid - the cutlets turn out more juicy.

    3. Place oatmeal in the minced meat, salt, pepper, and add seasonings.

    4. Beat in the egg, mix the mixture well and beat it lightly.

    Form cutlets and fry in olive oil on both sides until brownish.

    Goulash of turkey fillet stewed with onions and carrots in a frying pan

    Many of us associate goulash with lunches in the canteen, but in fact it is prepared not only in public catering. This dish is of Hungarian origin and is traditionally prepared with beef or veal. It is cut into thin slices and then stewed with onions and carrots in tomato sauce. I want to offer a version of turkey fillet goulash, which turns out to be especially tender and juicy.

    Rules for frying turkey

    The easiest and fastest way to fry a turkey is to cut the fillet into pieces with a side of 2-3 centimeters, place it in a hot frying pan with oil and add salt and spices while frying. Fry 1 layer of fillet pieces for 10 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly so that the pieces are fried on all sides. Then cover the pan with a lid and simmer. Optionally, you can add cream, sour cream, tomato or soy sauce - then the turkey will be immediately with the sauce, which can be served as a side dish.

    Turkey meat is a very environmentally friendly product, so even if you fry pieces of turkey fillet for 10-15 minutes, the meat can already be eaten. To make the turkey pieces softer, after frying, you can cover the frying pan with a lid and simmer the meat for 3-4 minutes.

    Fry the turkey fillet in a frying pan, cutting it into large layers - steaks, or chopping it into pieces with sides of 2-4 centimeters. Whole turkey drumsticks and wings are less often fried - they are very large in size, so only a small amount of them will fit in a frying pan and they should be cooked for a very long time.

    Stewed potatoes with turkey in a slow cooker

    The process of preparing stewed potatoes with turkey can be greatly simplified by using a universal appliance found in many kitchens called a multicooker.
    True, there are some nuances here too. The set of products for getting stewed potatoes with turkey in a slow cooker for lunch/dinner is still needed, and there is absolutely no point in describing it. Technology is another matter. Wash the turkey well, remove the skin and cut into pieces. Chop the onion finely, and it is better to grate the carrots on a large shredder. Pour vegetable oil into the bowl of the device, put the prepared ingredients and add a little water or broth. Close the multicooker and set the “frying” mode to leave alone for 15 minutes. During this time, prepare the potatoes, i.e. wash, peel and cut into relatively large cubes.

    When the heat treatment of the first bookmark is completed, add potatoes, salt, spices and the remaining water or broth to the bowl. Now you need to switch the multicooker to the “quenching” mode and rest for another hour. The device will do the rest on its own.
