Fry the onion in vegetable oil. After it turns golden, add meat to it and fry until cooked. Salt the minced meat, add thyme, then add pepper and tomatoes. Mix everything. At the very end, add tomato paste, simmer for a few minutes and turn off the heat. Cover the saucepan with a lid and leave the filling to cool.

The potatoes are already ready by then. We clean it and grind it on a grater. Add flour to it (a glass of flour goes for one pie) and a teaspoon of salt.
