Step-by-step preparation

15 minutes

Cut off the cap of the shell from the sharp end and pour the contents into a bowl.

Heat a frying pan with olive oil on the stove.

At the same time, pour the contents of the bowl into the heated frying pan.

Fry without covering the lid for about 3 minutes, depending on the size of the eggs. We make sure that the protein “seizes,” that is, it turns from transparent to white.

Serve the finished dish on a shallow large plate and garnish with herbs and tomatoes.

Aristocratic dish

A very tempting idea with which you can cook delicious scrambled eggs: you just need to combine quail eggs and the meat of these birds.

The sequence of actions is as follows:

  • Remove the fillets from the quails. For every ten eggs you will need one bird carcass.
  • Blanch the tomatoes, remove skins and seeds, and cut into cubes.
  • Chop the shallots into smaller pieces.
  • Mix butter with olive oil and fry the meat with onions and chopped thyme.
  • We remove the quail, beat the eggs into the juice from under it. When they set a little, place the meat, tomatoes and onions on the sides of the yolk.

It turns out very beautiful and very tasty. • In champignons

The dish is prepared in the oven. Choose mushrooms with large caps. Carefully cut out the legs to leave more room for the filling. First, bake the mushrooms themselves until half cooked, then break the spotted miracle into each mushroom and bake in the oven again.

Portioned scrambled eggs are ready. It is very convenient to serve and very tasty to eat. You can hide a variety of fillings under the egg: finely chopped vegetables, herbs or even minced meat. You will get beautiful huge “buttons” that can be served for dinner or even on a holiday table.

Original scrambled eggs

Regular scrambled eggs from quail eggs are prepared in the same way as from chicken eggs, only they take less time on the stove. We suggest tasting a more elegant version of the dish.

Cut circles from the zucchini and remove the core. We cut the tomatoes into layers and also remove the “entrails” to make rings. Fry some brisket until lightly tanned, place the rings in the frying pan and brown on one side. Zucchini items are added earlier - they take longer to cook than tomato items. After turning over, crack a quail egg into each ring, add salt and pepper and fry until done. When serving, it is recommended to garnish with herbs or lettuce leaves. It is not forbidden to sprinkle the dish with cheese.

You can prepare such scrambled eggs from quail eggs for a child if he is already accustomed to vegetables. By the way, kids eat it more willingly than plain ones - it looks “grown-up”, smells tempting, and tastes delicious. You just need to be more restrained with spices if you are preparing a children's breakfast.

How to cook delicious scrambled eggs with minced meat

The meat component can be of any “origin”. Veal, pork and chicken are also suitable. The main thing is that the meat is fresh, carefully twisted, and flavored with a proportionate and suitable set of spices. Onions and garlic are added as desired, or you can do without them altogether.

We put the minced meat in a baking dish, level it and form a kind of cells, for which we sculpt “walls” in the right places, separating the areas. Drive a quail egg into each of the resulting cells, season them and put the pan in the oven. Baking will take about a quarter of an hour. Shortly before it’s ready, you can remove the mold and sprinkle the scrambled quail eggs with cheese. Already at the serving stage, season the dish with chopped herbs.

Useful tips

  1. You can break up the “spotted miracle” using nail scissors. Carefully cut off the cap from the sharp end. The same can be done with a knife. Insert the point into the side of the shell and turn clockwise, as if cutting off the lid. It is very comfortable.
  2. It won’t be possible to quickly break all 16 pieces into a frying pan at once, so we carefully remove the contents in a special way into a bowl and only then pour them into the frying pan.
  3. The mass of five quail eggs is equal to 1 chicken, so you need to wisely calculate the number of eggs per serving. Usually use 12-20 pieces for 2 servings.
  4. By adding a little milk to the scrambled eggs, you can get a great omelet.
  5. I serve the simplest, classic quail eggs with vegetables and croutons. I fry it for about 1.5 minutes. – hard-boiled and 45 sec. - in a bag.
  6. Despite their small size, spotted eggs are quite filling, although they are a low-calorie product. One quail egg contains 15 kcal, one chicken egg – 75 kcal. It would seem that it is 5 times less, but no one eats them one at a time, they are eaten in 5-8 pieces at once, so the calorie content turns out to be about the same.
  7. If you want to slightly change the taste of an egg dish, fry it in butter, although this is completely against the rules.

The truth is in the egg

Nature has decreed that in birds the birth of babies is delayed or does not occur at all. This lies in the characteristics of reproduction. First, the egg appears and only after 2 - 3 weeks does the chick hatch from it. Moreover, the female will lay the egg in any case, no matter whether there is a male nearby or not. People began to take advantage of this fact long ago by establishing mass production of poultry eggs. At first it was chickens, later they started keeping quails in captivity.

Breeding this bird on an industrial scale turned out to be quite profitable. They differ in that:

  1. They require very little space for a fairly large population.
  2. During the life process, an excess amount of heat is released, which allows you to save on heating the room.
  3. Unpretentious in food.
  4. They have a good level of egg production.
  5. Meat and eggs are expensive and are classified as delicacies.

Nevertheless, the demand for products is constant. The secret lies in the unique properties of quail eggs.

How to peel quail eggs

The best way to peel a quail egg is with a small, sharp knife. Gently tap the shell and then pierce the membrane underneath.

The easiest way to get rid of a quail egg shell:

  1. Tap the eggs on a hard surface to crack them all over the shell.
  2. Start peeling the shell off the egg.
  3. Try to reach in with your finger and remove some of the thin membrane under the sink that sort of holds the sink together. If you can clear it, the shell will come with it.
  4. If you're lucky, you can take the handle of a teaspoon and force it between the shell and the membrane.
