Pancake pie with chicken and mushrooms

This pie can feed a whole group of men. It is filling and tasty, although you will have to tinker a little with preparing the fillings. There are two of them - one from boiled chicken, the second from champignons. It is also necessary to bake thin pancakes in advance. Try not to fry them until golden brown, as they will still bake in the oven.

Compound:

  • 300 g hard cheese
  • 20 g butter
  • vegetable oil
  • salt, ground pepper
  • fresh dill
  • 11 thin savory pancakes

first filling:

  • 700 g chicken fillet
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 3 tbsp. sour cream
  • 1 tbsp. mayonnaise

second filling:

  • 500 g champignons
  • 2 onions

Deep round baking dish.

Boil the fillet pieces in salted water until tender. Then cool and cut into small cubes.

Add finely grated garlic, pepper and salt to taste, sour cream and mayonnaise to the meat. Stir until smooth.

. Cut the well-washed mushrooms and onions into small pieces.

Heat a frying pan with a small amount of vegetable oil. Add mushrooms and onions, sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. As soon as they turn golden brown and all the liquid has evaporated, the vegetables are ready.

Grease the bottom and sides of the pan generously with butter. Take 5 pancakes - place one on the bottom, and cover the sides of the pan with the rest so that their edges hang down. This is needed to cover the top of the pie.

Place a thin layer of chicken filling inside the bottom and sprinkle finely grated hard cheese on it. Cover the layer with a pancake.

Now also distribute the mushroom filling, sprinkle with cheese and cover with a pancake.

Continue forming the entire pie in this manner until all the filling is gone. At the end, fold the overhanging edges and cover the pie with the last pancake. Using a brush, coat the top with butter and sour cream (or mayonnaise).

Place the mold in an oven preheated to 180° for 20 minutes.

Turn the finished pie onto a plate. Sprinkle with finely chopped dill.

  • 150 g raw carrots
  • 1.5 tbsp. flour
  • 1.5 tbsp. water
  • 1 tbsp. milk
  • 1 tsp soda

  • 1 tbsp. sour cream
  • 3 tbsp. odorless vegetable oil

Filling:

  • 500 g beef liver
  • 0.5 tbsp. milk
  • 1-2 processed cheese
  • 200 g finely chopped onion
  • pepper, nutmeg, Italian herbs (on the tip of a teaspoon)
  • salt

Rinse the liver under running water and cut into several pieces. Place in boiling water, cook for 5-7 minutes.

Then cool, cut into cubes and place in a blender bowl. Pour in half a glass of milk and grind to a paste. Transfer the mixture to a deep plate.

Place the onion in a preheated frying pan with vegetable oil and fry until soft. Add all the spices and stir.

Mix the fried onion with liver paste and add salt to taste.

Grate the processed cheese on a fine grater. Grind with liver. Now try it - if one cheese is not enough, add a second one.

Grate the raw carrots on a fine grater. Pour in milk, beat in eggs. Add salt, sugar and vegetable oil. Using a whisk, stir the ingredients well until smooth.

Sift flour and soda into the resulting mass and mix. Now pour in water - the dough should turn out liquid.

Fry pancakes in a frying pan greased with vegetable oil. Pour the dough into a thin layer and spread it over the entire surface. Fry on both sides.

First coat each pancake with sour cream, then add the filling. Form the entire cake in this manner.

Also cover the top and sides with sour cream - this will make the snack soft and juicy.

1 glass = 220 ml

Place chicken meat, bay leaf, and peppercorns in a saucepan. Fill everything with water and bring to a boil. Then skim off the foam and add a little salt. Set the heat to medium, cook for 25-30 minutes.

To prepare the dough, pour milk into a bowl. Add eggs, vegetable oil, a pinch of salt. Whisk the mixture until smooth. Then sift the flour with baking powder and stir thoroughly again. The dough should be liquid.

Pour a small amount of dough into a well-heated frying pan. Spread it all over. Then turn over to the other side. Fry until lightly browned. Fry all the pancakes this way.
