How to make classic chocolate pancakes with milk and cocoa
Ingredients:
- 250 g flour;
- 300 ml milk;
- 2 eggs;
- 2 tbsp. l. cocoa powder;
- 1 tsp. baking powder;
- 4 tbsp. l. granulated sugar;
- ½ tsp. salt and vanillin;
- 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil.
Method for preparing chocolate pancakes:
- Beat eggs with granulated sugar and salt.
- Add warm milk and vegetable oil to the egg mixture and mix with a mixer.
- In a separate bowl, combine the sifted flour with granulated sugar, cocoa powder and baking powder.
- Add the bulk mixture in portions, gently mixing the composition.
The output should be chocolate dough with the consistency of condensed milk. Before preparing the first batch of pancakes, it is recommended to grease the heated frying pan with a small amount of butter. Bake pancakes for 2-3 minutes on each side.
Note! The flour should be sifted before mixing with the other ingredients - this will saturate the dough with air, which will make homemade chocolate pancakes with milk more fluffy.
How to make chocolate pancakes
Choco pancakes are one of the few delicious dishes that require a minimum of time to prepare. Considering their nutritional value, it is better to make dessert for breakfast. The most suitable utensils for baking chocolate pancakes are a pancake pan or a wide frying pan with a flat, thick bottom. Experienced pancake makers share their secrets for achieving perfect homemade baked goods:
- Use fresh baking powder or baking soda. Even if their shelf life has not yet expired, you still won’t get a fluffy pancake with chocolate flavor. The fresher the product, the more bubbles it will give when reacting with an acidic environment.
Note! A pack that has been left open for a couple of weeks is useless for pancakes. Even if less than a month has passed since its manufacture. With such storage, a couple of days is enough for most of the active substances to evaporate from the powder.
- For the same reason, you cannot prepare the dough in advance. It will take 1 hour for the formed bubbles to burst. Chocolate baked goods made from such a base will never be fluffy.
- To make chocolate pancakes fluffy, eggs and milk should be at room temperature.
- Do not be overzealous when mixing lumps. This will lead to the formation of gluten, which is inappropriate in this type of chocolate baking. In pancake form, American pancake must be kneaded until the liquid permeates the dry ingredients.
- To get the uniform crust that pancakes are famous for, you shouldn’t overuse butter. In the classic version, the dish is fried in a dry frying pan. If you can’t do without oil, you can lightly sprinkle the dishes with it, and then remove the excess with a paper napkin.
- Pieces of chocolate, berries or fruits added directly to the dough cause pancakes to burn. To prevent this from happening, you need to pour a little base into the pan, on top of which you can pour additional components. Chocolate pancake will not stick to the pan after turning over if the filling is covered with a layer of dough.
During the frying process, bubbles form on the surface of the pancakes. Do not try to turn the product over until they all burst. Following the rules will help you reproduce chocolate pancakes, the recipe with photos of which will look like a restaurant menu.

Components:
- 200 g flour;
- 225 ml milk;
- 3 tbsp. l. cocoa powder;
- 75 g dark or milk chocolate;
- 35 g butter;
- 50 g sugar;
- 2 eggs;
- 1 tbsp. l. baking powder;
- a package of vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt.
Technology for making pancakes filled with grated chocolate:
- Combine flour with baking powder and cocoa powder.
- Add eggs, salt, regular and vanilla sugar to 125 ml of milk, beat well, add the bulk mixture and mix well until all the grains are dissolved.
- Heat the remaining milk a little, add small pieces of softened butter, stir and pour into the main pancake mixture.
Fry on both sides - immediately sprinkle the top of the finished chocolate cake with grated chocolate.
Chocolate pancakes without eggs with raisins and nuts
This is a vegetarian pancake recipe without cow's milk or eggs.
Ingredients:
- whole grain flour, gluten free – 2 tbsp;
- boiled water – 300 ml;
- honey or brown sugar – 50 g;
- cocoa – 2.5 tbsp. l.;
- walnut kernels – 200 g;
- raisins of the raisins variety, seedless – 50 g;
- ground cinnamon – 1 g;
- baking soda, slaked – 1 g;
- a pinch of salt;
- sunflower oil – 40 ml.
How to cook in a slow cooker
- The nut kernels are fried in a dry frying pan for 2-3 minutes. Cut the kernel coarsely into 4 pieces. Raisins are washed with hot boiling water. Large berries are cut into 2 parts.
- The flour is mixed with cinnamon, cocoa, salt, and sugar.
- Pour in warm water (not hot), with honey and oil.
- Add slaked soda, nuts, raisins, and mix thoroughly. Let the dough rest in a warm place for 10-15 minutes.
- A dry frying pan is heated. Reduce heat to medium.
- The dough is poured with a ladle into the multicooker bowl. Cover with a lid. Turn on “Baking” for 2-3 minutes.
- Turn off the device. The pancake is carefully turned over. On the second side, bake the pancake for 1-1.5 minutes, turning on the “Baking” mode. To remove baked goods from the multicooker, turn off the device.
The finished pancakes are stacked. Served with honey, fruits, nuts, hot green tea. Definitely with love.
On kefir
Components:
- 200 ml kefir;
- 150 g flour;
- 1 egg;
- 2 tbsp. l. cocoa powder;
- 4 tbsp. l. granulated sugar;
- 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil;
- 1 tsp. soda;
- a pinch of salt.
Pancake cooking steps:
- Mix eggs with granulated sugar until the mixture thickens and a stable foam appears.
- Pour slightly warmed kefir and vegetable oil into the beaten eggs, beat the mixture thoroughly.
- Mix flour with cocoa, add to the main mixture, stir with a fork or whisk until all lumps are dissolved.
- Add soda, mix and set the chocolate dough aside for 15-20 minutes - during this time it will begin to bubble.
Bake the pancakes on one side until the dough thickens and bubbles appear on its surface, then fry the other side for the same amount of time. On average, frying takes 4–6 minutes.
Banana pancakes with chocolate on rice flour without milk
If you like the so-called healthy diet, then this baking option exists especially for you. PP – pancakes surprise with their delicate texture and aroma. And their taste is simply divine.
What you will need:
- 2 pcs egg,
- 40 g rice flour,
- 100 g banana,
- 3 tsp baking powder,
- 10 g dark chocolate.
These pancakes are perfect for breakfast. They are filling and have minimal calories.
How to cook
Beat eggs into a bowl. Place banana slices and add flour. Mix everything using a blender. We should have a homogeneous dough, fluffy and light.
Grease a non-stick frying pan with just a drop of vegetable oil. Place a couple of spoons of dough on the heated surface, place a slice of chocolate in the very middle and cover again with a couple of spoons of dough.
Bake on one side until the pancake is completely covered in holes. After this, turn over and wait another 40 seconds.

- 175 g flour;

Recipe for economical chocolate pancakes without adding dairy products:
- Mix flour with baking powder, 2 types of sugar, cocoa and salt.
- Separate the whites and yolks into different containers.
- Beat the whites until foam appears.
- Pour water into the yolks, mix and pour into the bulk ingredients. Knead the chocolate dough until the lumps dissolve, then add the whites and mix again.
Fry for a few minutes on each side - the end result is pancakes that are no less airy and soft than those made with milk.

And, as usual, we will start with the classic version, which is the simplest and easiest to prepare. And, of course, it does not require any exotic or overly expensive components.
What you will need:
- milk - 230 ml,
- egg - 1 piece,
- flour – 200 g,
- sugar – 35 g,
- banana - 1 piece,
- salt - 1/3 tsp,
- baking powder (baking powder) – 5 g,
- cocoa – 30 g,
- vegetable oil – 20 g.

How to cook
Mix sugar and egg in a bowl. You can do this with a whisk or a mixer. But the latter is still more convenient. Beat until foam appears. Also make sure that all the sugar has dissolved.

Heat the milk on the stove to room temperature. Pour into egg mixture.
Sift the flour, add soda and salt to it. Carefully, one spoon at a time. Spread into dough. It must be stirred each time to prevent lumps from forming. And again a mixer will come to our aid. Don't forget about cocoa powder.
Peel the banana and mash with a fork. And use the mixer again to turn this fruit into puree.
Place the finished banana puree into our dough and mix thoroughly. Our dough for chocolate pancakes with banana is ready. You can start baking.
Heat the pan, lightly grease it with oil so that there is no residue on the surface. Pour the dough into portions onto the heated surface. Fry on one side over medium heat until bubbly.
Flip and bake on the second side for no more than 30 seconds.

Components:
- 125 g flour;
- 175 ml milk;
- 1 egg;
- 25 g butter;
- 2 tbsp. l. Sahara;

Recipe for chocolate banana exotic pancakes:
- In one bowl, combine flour with baking powder, salt and sugar.
- In another bowl, beat the yolk with milk.
- Break the banana into small pieces and combine with softened butter. Add the milk-egg mixture to the fruit-butter puree and stir for several minutes.
- Add the dry ingredients to the main pancake mixture and stir with a whisk until the grains dissolve.
- Beat the remaining egg white until foamy, add to the chocolate batter and mix gently.
Banana pancakes with chocolate have an original aroma and an unusually exotic taste.
Vegan chocolate banana pancakes
This pancake recipe for vegetarians does not contain butter, eggs or cow's milk. If they are baked on a non-stick pancake maker, then they don’t even grease the hot surface with oil.
Required Products:
- whole grain or rye flour, rice flour – 150 g;
- cocoa powder – 20 g;
- baking powder - a quarter teaspoon;
- soy or almond milk, oat milk – 250 ml;
- soft, ripe banana – 0.5 pcs.;
- brown sugar – 50 g;
- vanilla sugar – 1 sachet.
Step-by-step cooking process
- A very soft, ripe banana is thoroughly mashed with a mortar and mixed with vegetable milk. If you have a mixer in the kitchen, beat everything together.
- Mix the dry ingredients in a separate bowl and add them in small portions to the resulting cocktail.
- The batter should be thicker than pancake batter. Leave it in a warm place for the baking powder to work and bubbles to appear, for 10-12 minutes.
- The non-stick frying pan is heated. Then reduce the heat to medium and pour some of the dough into the middle. The pan is slightly tilted in different directions so that the dough forms a beautiful, even, but not too thin circle.
- If the dough becomes too thin, add a little flour and mix again. When the edges of the pancake are browned, carefully turn it over to the other side. Fry for 1.5-2 minutes on each side.
Vegetarian pancakes are decorated with prunes, and rye flour is chosen. In this case, diabetics can also enjoy them.
With chocolate filling
Components:
- 250 g flour;
- 3 tbsp. l. granulated sugar;
- ½ tsp. salt;
- 1 egg;
- 200 ml milk;
- 10–12 tbsp. l. "Nutella";
- 10 g butter;
- a pinch of salt and baking powder.
Interesting! For ease of working with chocolate paste when making pancake filling, it must first be frozen. To do this, place thin chocolate circles on parchment and place them in the freezer for 10 minutes. After the specified time has passed, another layer is applied on top and placed in the freezer for another 15 minutes.

Chocolate pancakes with banana and yogurt - a real American breakfast
You don't have kefir or milk to make the dough, but you really want to try banana pancakes? For the base, you can safely use yogurt. It will turn out no less tasty and appetizing!
What you will need:
- 5 tbsp flour,
- 3 tbsp sugar + 1 sachet vanilla sugar,
- 30 grams of quality cocoa powder,
- 1 egg
- 1 banana
- 150-180 ml yogurt,
- Berries, condensed milk and chocolate.
Before you start cooking, the banana must be peeled, cut into small cubes and mashed.
How to cook
Place the prepared banana puree into a bowl. Add sugar, vanilla sugar, cocoa, salt to it. Mix.
Pour in kefir at room temperature. Beat in one egg. Mix again.
Now, depending on the resulting consistency, add sifted flour. This should be done using a tablespoon, making sure to stir everything each time until the lumps are completely dissolved.
As a result, we should get a dough similar to thick sour cream.
Grease the frying pan with vegetable oil. Ideally, take one that has a non-stick coating. Spoon the dough onto the heated surface in portions. Bake on both sides.
Serve with your favorite berries, coated with condensed milk and sprinkled with grated chocolate.
With whipped cream
Test components:
- 225 ml milk;
- 35 g butter;
- 1 egg;
- 3 tbsp. l. cocoa powder;
- 150 g flour;
- 3 tbsp. l. granulated sugar;
- 1 tsp. vanilla sugar;
- 8–10 g baking powder;
- a pinch of salt.
Ingredients for filling:
- 200 ml heavy cream;
- 100 g powdered sugar;
- a pinch of salt.
Steps for preparing chocolate dough:
- Beat the egg with salt and sugar using a whisk.
- In other containers, melt the butter over a steamer and heat the milk. Add these ingredients to the egg mixture.
- Add cocoa powder and stir.
- Add baking powder to the flour, add to the main mixture, knead until all components are dissolved.
To prepare the filling, take pre-chilled cream, add powder and salt to it, and beat until thick. To add an original aroma, you can add a few drops of food nut or fruit flavoring. When laying out the finished chocolate pancakes in a pile, spread the prepared whipped cream between them.
Flourless pancakes made with green buckwheat
Green buckwheat is soaked overnight. In the morning, wash it and knead it with a mortar and blender.
Products:
- green buckwheat – 250 g;
- water – 50 ml;
- cocoa – 3 tbsp. l.;
- honey – 10 g;
- salt - a pinch;
- slaked soda – 1 g;
- Coconut oil.
Preparation
- Add all ingredients to buckwheat puree and stir.
- At the last moment, add baking soda, quenched with a small amount of apple cider vinegar. Mix and let rest for 10 minutes.
- The resulting not too liquid dough is poured with a large spoon into a hot frying pan.
- Pancakes are fried on both sides until golden brown.
Place in a stack in a plate, pour over melted chocolate, decorate with nuts and raspberries.
With chocolate sauce
Sweet sauce ingredients:
- 200 g of your favorite chocolate;
- 125 ml purified water;
- 30 g butter;
- 4 tbsp. l. Sahara;
- 50 ml heavy cream;
- a pinch of vanillin.
Cooking steps:
- Bring water to a boil, add sugar, stir until all grains are removed.
- Break the chocolate into small pieces and cut the melted butter, add the ingredients to the water, stir until all the pieces are dissolved.
- Turn off the heat, add vanilla and cream, mix gently.
Prepare pancakes according to one of the above recipes and pour warm chocolate sauce over them.
Pancakes with hot chocolate
- 200 g of any chocolate;
- 125 ml water;
- 4 tbsp. spoons of sugar;
- 50 ml high fat cream;
- 30 g butter;
- Vanillin.
Preparation:
- Boil water and add sugar.
- Mix well.
- Break the chocolate bar into small pieces.
- Cut the butter.
- Add ingredients to water and dissolve.
- Heat the mixture over the fire.
- Add cream and a pinch of vanilla.
Place the pancakes in a frying pan and fry until golden brown. Drizzle with chocolate sauce.
Preparing juicy pancakes
The butter must be melted in a water bath or using a microwave oven. Allow the mixture to cool slightly. Beat the eggs with granulated sugar and vanilla until they turn into foam. Pour in melted butter and add pumpkin puree. Lightly beat the mixture again using a mixer.

Recipe with milk
This recipe is similar to the previous one, only we replace kefir with milk and remove the soda. This recipe is also considered a classic. In principle, all of humanity can be divided into two halves: one prepares pancakes with kefir, and the other with milk. So the choice is yours.
Ingredients:
- Milk 350ml.
- Flour 250g.
- Vegetable oil 4 tbsp. spoons
- Sugar to taste, 4-5 tbsp. spoons
- 3 eggs
- A pinch of salt.
Cooking process:
Separate the yolks from the whites.
Beat the yolks with sugar until the mixture turns white.
Add warm milk to the yolks and continue beating until well foamed.
Add sifted flour. Mix with a spoon, and then use a mixer or blender to beat the dough until smooth.
It is possible that the dough will turn out to be too liquid, then you should add a little flour and repeat the beating process.
After flour, you need to add vegetable oil to the dough, which will allow the pancakes not to burn.
Mix the vegetable oil until the dough is homogeneous.
Now let's get back to the proteins. The whites must be beaten to stiff peaks. That is, to put it simply, to the point of standing. To make a strong foam. To make this easier to achieve, add a pinch of salt to the whites and start beating.
Place the whipped whites into the bowl with the dough and carefully, using a spoon, mix the two ingredients until smooth.
Egg whites will make the dough fluffy and airy. It is thanks to proteins that we will not add either soda or baking powder.

Pancakes stuffed with Nutella inside
If you want to cook something original but at the same time something simple. Try making pancakes with filling. Let's use Nutella as a filling.
Ingredients:
- Nutella - 7 tbsp. l.
- Flour - 210 g
- Baking powder - 15 g
- Sugar - 70 g
- Eggs - 1 piece
- Milk – 250 ml
- Vanilla sugar -1 tsp.
- Butter - 1 tsp.
- A pinch of salt
Cooking process:
Place Nutella on parchment in small portions. No more than 5-7 mm thick.
We put the paper with Nutella in the refrigerator so that it freezes. Better yet, put it in the freezer for 30-40 minutes.
Mix all bulk products in one bowl.
Combine eggs and milk and lightly beat with a mixer.
Gradually add the bulk mixture. Stir until smooth.
Pour some dough into the pan and add a portion of Nutella. Then pour the dough over the Nutella.
This must be done very quickly before the dough burns.
After 1-2 minutes, check the first side for doneness and if the side is fried, turn it over to the other. Fry until done and remove.
