A very simple, but tasty and healthy dish - pasta casserole with cottage cheese. The casserole is very easy and quick to prepare in the oven. While mixing the ingredients, turn on the oven. You can go about your business for 30 minutes while it bakes, and the delicious dish is ready. In general, everything turns out delicious with cottage cheese. I really like to cook a variety of dishes with cottage cheese - stuffed pancakes, sweet cheesecakes and cheesecakes with mushroom filling, casserole with raisins, cottage cheese pie, carrot cake, lazy dumplings and much more. So, let's prepare a pasta casserole with cottage cheese in the oven.
Compound:
- pack of vermicelli (spaghetti) 450 g
- 450 g cottage cheese
- 3 eggs
- 2-3 tbsp sugar
- 200 g sour cream (preferably 10%)
- lemon or orange zest (optional)
- butter for greasing the pan
Step-by-step instruction
First you should boil the vermicelli. To do this, place it in a pan filled with salted boiling water and wait a few minutes. The finished pasta is placed in a colander, and after the excess liquid has drained from it, combined in one bowl with a couple of tablespoons of butter.
Then the cottage cheese, raw egg and chopped herbs, rubbed through a sieve, are sent into the same bowl. Lastly, the remaining butter mixed with ground paprika is added to the mass. All this is laid out in a pre-prepared form and put in the oven. An unsweetened casserole of pasta and cottage cheese is prepared for forty minutes. Before serving, sprinkle it with ketchup.
Casserole with vermicelli and cottage cheese
Break the eggs into the cottage cheese, mix with a fork and add sugar to taste. If you want a sweet casserole, then add 3-4 tablespoons; if you don’t want to add sugar, you can replace it with raisins, which will add enough sweetness.
Now add sour cream. You can add 20-25% fat sour cream, but the curd mass will turn out very dense and thick. In this case, it will be difficult to mix it with noodles.
Therefore, if the mass turns out exactly like this, add a little kefir or natural yogurt. The curd mass should mix easily with the vermicelli. But, of course, there is no need to make it liquid at all.
We cook noodles in advance, you can use any, in my case it’s spaghetti. Rinse under cold water and allow excess water to drain thoroughly.
Combine noodles and curd mass.
Grease the baking dish with melted or soft butter. Spread the mixed noodles with cottage cheese.
Since almost all the ingredients are already ready for use, we need to bake until golden brown. We do this at t=180 degrees.
It is best to serve sweet pasta casserole with cottage cheese with sour cream. If you prepared the casserole without sugar, it will be very tasty with exotic jam (it can be prepared at any time of the year) or with caramel sauce. You can sprinkle with powdered sugar and decorate with fresh fruits or berries.

To prepare pasta with cottage cheese, like in childhood, you will need:
- a glass of vermicelli, preferably small;
- 2 packs of cottage cheese, about 500 g in total;
- a glass of sugar, less depending on your preferred sweetness;
- 3 eggs;
- vanilla sugar;
- candied fruits and raisins to taste.
Preparation:
- Boil the vermicelli in slightly salted water, but not until fully cooked, drain the water.
- Grind the cottage cheese with eggs and sugar, leaving 1 yolk for greasing.
- Add candied fruits, raisins, vermicelli, mix thoroughly.
- Grease the mold, lay out the resulting mixture, it should not be very thick.
- Bake at 180 degrees in the oven for half an hour. A few minutes before it’s ready, brush the casserole with egg yolk.
- A golden crust forms on top. Readiness should be checked with a toothpick.

For connoisseurs of cottage cheese casseroles, my recipe today. Let's prepare a delicious, tender and aromatic casserole of cottage cheese with noodles - one of the favorite dishes of many children. Of course, this casserole can be baked in a slow cooker, but it turns out even better in the oven!
I should note that the site already has 10 recipes for a variety of cottage cheese casseroles (choose here). However, cottage cheese is not only a very tasty and healthy independent dish, but also the basis for all kinds of culinary experiments. Therefore, there will be many more new casseroles with cottage cheese in the leading role.
Let's return to the recipe: cottage cheese for this casserole is suitable for any fat content, and the amount of sugar can be safely adjusted to your taste. If desired, replace water with milk. In addition to vermicelli, you can use other pasta, but do not forget to boil them first until half cooked (I would say almost ready).
Classic version
This recipe is good because it involves the use of simple budget products, the main part of which is always available in any refrigerator. To make tasty and healthy cottage cheese, try to check in advance whether you have everything you need in the kitchen. This time you will need:
- Half a kilo of cottage cheese.
- 200 grams of pasta.
- A pair of chicken eggs.
- 0.75 cups granulated sugar.
- A tablespoon of butter.
From the specified amount of products four servings of a sweet treat are obtained. So if you are cooking for a large family, simply double all the ingredients.
Cooking step by step:
To prepare this cottage cheese casserole, we will need the following ingredients: cottage cheese of any fat content (I took 5%), vermicelli, water, granulated sugar, chicken eggs, vanilla and a little butter (I forgot to put it on the table) to grease the pan.
We immediately turn on the oven to warm up, since the preparation will only take about 15 minutes. We will not cook vermicelli (200 grams), since it is very thin and cooks quickly. Place it in a suitable container and simply fill it with boiling water (300 milliliters). If you want, you can replace the water with milk. Stir and leave on the counter while we prepare the rest of the ingredients.
Break 3 chicken eggs into another bowl, add 100 grams of granulated sugar and a pinch of vanillin for flavor (optional).
Beat everything with a mixer or hand whisk until the sugar dissolves. Next add 400 grams of cottage cheese of any fat content.
Mix everything vigorously or beat with a mixer to obtain a homogeneous mixture. There is no need to beat for a long time - it is only important to break up large pieces of cottage cheese.
While we were working on the curd-egg mixture, the vermicelli softened, but at the same time remained half-cooked. It should have absorbed all the water, but if there is any left, place the noodles in a sieve.
Add vermicelli to the curd and egg base.
Mix everything with a spoon or spatula - the base for the cottage cheese casserole is prepared.
Take a baking dish (I have a square silicone 20x20 cm). Grease it with a teaspoon of soft butter - it will give the casserole not only an appetizing crust, but also an aroma.
We put the base for the future cottage cheese casserole with noodles into the mold.
Cook the casserole in a preheated oven on a medium level (I have a gas stove, bottom heat, no convection) at 180 degrees for about 30 (+-) minutes. My casserole doesn’t brown very well, so I turn on the grill for an additional 5 minutes.
Take the finished cottage cheese casserole with noodles out of the mold, cut into portions and serve.
It is good both warm and cold - whichever you prefer. Sour cream, natural or fruit yogurt, honey, jam, jam, syrup - flavor the casserole with whatever your heart desires.
